Flying blind doesn’t end with a soft landing.

I’m at a meditation conference to close out the week.

And yesterday at our meet and greet, I was talking with another business owner yesterday about what we do…

I didn’t tell her about RIDL because most people aren’t looking for Agentic AI that talks them through their go to market.

I have more spreadsheets than I can count.

In my conversation, I find that most people ARE looking for a clearer revenue picture though.

So when she asked how I could help her, I simply asked — “What do you do?” and how “How do you track who’s talking to your clients about what?“

And there was the standard answer… spreadsheets.

Let me be clear here… I have more spreadsheets than I can count.

Then I asked her this.

“What kind of picture do you think you would get if you could see how every project you do for clients turned out and every conversation you had in every one of those projects?”

Her reply — “I would probably learn a lot about myself.“

Everyone learns a lot when we start looking at what actually drives results and outcomes.

And the main reason behind that?

Most of us are just doing our job… playing our role in the larger machine that is already chugging along.

Most people don’t realize that thing doesn’t actually run — it lurches, staggers, and limps forward and calls we call it progress.

What if that engine could purr?
