I’ve sat at the computer trying to get all my data into the slide deck to update the board.

Hours and hours of work.

And you know they are going to tear it apart because that’s their job.

Pulling data from this tool and that one and the other one over there.

Website traffic.

Form submissions.

Sales messaging data.

Phone call data.

Close/Won vs Closed/Lost.

MRR/YRR.

ACV.

CLV/LTV.

Growth rates.

Profitability.

Data living in 10, 15, or 20 systems.

Pull it from here, add it to the spreadsheet.

Pull it from there, add it to the spreadsheet.

Get a graph built. Tweak and tweak and tweak it.

Is it going to get the ideas across?

Are they going to be happy with it?

There has to be a better way right?

I always thought so.

Now I know so.

And yes it is a bunch of work.

And yeah I had to make a customer data strategy and we had to execute it.
