Because I’m a glutton for punishment.

Really I need an outlet for other things I do and this seemed like a great way to get myself organized.

I built a “funnel“.

I built ads.

I tested the ads.

I got people on my email list.

I wrote emails about the topics my audience cares about.

I got engagement.

I got meetings booked.

I had calls with people.

I logged data.

  • User flow

  • Copy changes

  • Click throughs

  • Conversions and conversion rates

The data is color coded.

It’s pretty slick if I do say so myself.

And the ROI after 5 months -$4000

FML.

I have data.

I can see people doing this and people do that.

Did they see my emails? Not sure.

Did they see version 1 of the webinar or version 2? Dunno.

Did they read ad copy 1 or ad copy 2? Again I don’t actually know.

Can I tell you it got better when I made the changes? Yes I can see a clear change in the data week over week.

But I don’t know who saw what.

And yeah I can ask these people what pieces of content they have seen… and I do.

And that still doesn’t really tell me where they are at.

But you know what can?

So guess what I’m building?

A real time customer journey flow for RIDL — my customer data agentic AI platform.

Because I have to right?

I mean I can build it.

I want to build it.

Seems to me like I have to.
